Drew to Host Softball Prospect/Skills Clinic

Registration Form

MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University softball team will be conducting a prospect/skills clinic on Sunday, Jan. 20 in the Simon Forum. There will be a pitching and catching session from 3-4:30 p.m., followed by hitting and fielding from 4:30-7 p.m.

Drew's players and coaches will offer their first-hand expertise to help the participants advance their skills and prepare for a competitive softball environment. The fundamentals of the offensive game will be covered, as will proper defensive techniques and strategies. Players will also receive individualized instruction according to their skill level.

Prospects in grades 3-12 are encouraged to sign up for either or both sessions. Participants will be grouped based on skill and grade level, and all attendees 12 and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Enrollment is limited and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All registration materials and full payment must be received by Jan. 13 in order to guarantee a place. At-the-door registration will only be accepted if there is room.

Admission costs $50 for each session or $90 for both. Checks should be made payable to "Drew Athletics."  For more information, contact head coach Erica Mehalick at emehalick@drew.edu.
