WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Drew University women's tennis team closed out the fall portion of its schedule with a pair of convincing victories on Saturday at King's College.

The Rangers opened the day with a 9-0 victory over Cabrini College before posting an 8-1 win over King's to improve to 4-1 on the season.

In singles action, four different Rangers recorded a pair of victories on the day. Senior Ashley Camel won both of her matches at No. 1 singles to finish off a fall season in which she finished a perfect 8-0 in singles play. Senior Maria Navas Espinal (No. 2), freshman Danielle DelRosso (No. 3), and senior Christina Christodoulou (Nos. 4-5) also finished 2-0.

Drew did not lose a doubles match, going 6-0 for the day. Camel (No. 1), Cristodoulou (Nos. 1-2), DelRosso (Nos. 1-2), sophomore Kate Gangi (Nos. 2-3), and Navas Espinal (Nos. 2-3) all won both of their doubles contests.

The Rangers resume their schedule on Feb. 16 with a home match versus FDU-Florham.
