MORRISTOWN, N.J. - Junior Kristine Masseria captured medalist honors and the Drew University women's golf team beat out the University of Scranton to win the Spring Brook Invitational on Tuesday at a windy Spring Brook Country Club Tuesday afternoon.

Competing on their home course, the Rangers captured five of the top-six places, including the top-four finishers, in the field of 15. The Blue and Green finished with a 389 while Scranton posted a 408.

Masseria shot a 95 to edge out her teammate, freshman Abigail Haven, by one stroke. Freshman Alexandra Artigliere, who competed as an individual, and sophomore Cassidy Conklin tied for third with a 98. Sophomore Jenna Du Plooy placed sixth with a 100 to complete the team score while classmate Natalie Stilo also competed, carding a 107.

Drew continues its season on Saturday and Sunday at the NYU Invitational, held at Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, N.J.
