As a four-time varsity letter winner in basketball, Denise Browne Driscoll contributed to Drew's athletic success in an unprecedented manner. A true leader, she was team captain during her sophomore, junior and senior years and was named Most Valuable Player. She was also voted AWSF honorable mention All-American for two consecutive years.
Plagued by ankle injuries which prevented her from playing almost one-third of her senior year, she still managed to become Drew's second highest women's career scorer with 1,251 points. At the time of her induction, she went into the record books as the third highest rebounder with 759 and, remarkably for a center, was sixth in career assists with 122.
Denise also claimed the second highest career scoring average in Drew history with 16.1 points per game and was the first Ranger selected four straight years to The Rose City Classic All-Tournament Team, once New Jersey's largest college basketball tournament.
