Kowalski was the offensive spark plug for the Rangers this week, racking up 11 hits and scoring eight runs in six games. He was a menace on the base paths, swiping 11 bags including a school record four in one game against CCNY on Thursday. In Saturday's doubleheader against Scranton, he drove in the winning run with a single in the top of the eighth inning. Playing again in extra innings on Sunday, Kowalski scored the winning run in the top of the 10th after leading the frame off with a single. He stole third base and scored on a sacrifice fly helping the Rangers complete a series sweep of conference opponent Scranton.
