BETHLEHEM, Pa. (Feb. 10, 2016) – The Drew University women's basketball team fell victim to a strong second half for Moravian College and dropped Wednesday night's Landmark Conference contest on the road, 72-49.

Hannah Miller dropped 18 points in the setback and, like the team overall, contributed mostly in the first half. The team co-captain is a single bucket away from becoming the 11th member of the Drew women's basketball 1,000 Career Point Club. With 998 career points, she will take her shot at history on Saturday with a Landmark Conference tilt at Susquehanna University at 4:00 p.m. Senior forward
Courtney Stephens grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds, bringing her career total to 791.

The Rangers (7-16, 4-10) hung with Moravian (17-5, 10-3) during the first half, entering halftime trailing by just five, but the Greyhounds stormed out of the break and took on a commanding lead to dash to the finish.

The Rangers field goal shooting fell off in the second half, leading to a 28-percent clip to Moravian's 43. The Greyhounds dominated the paint game, netting 42 points on the inside and registering a plus-six rebound advantage.

Drew closes out the season at home against Elizabethtown College on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7:00 p.m. in Baldwin Gymnasium.
