TOWSON, Md. (Jan. 28, 2017) – Clutch free throw shooting and a career-high 19 points from junior point guard
Michaela Keegan led the Drew University women's basketball team to a 54-50 victory at Goucher College on Saturday afternoon.
By the Numbers: The Rangers move to 8-10 overall and back to .500 in the Landmark Conference at 4-4, while the Gophers fall to 4-14 and remain winless in the Landmark at 0-8. Drew improves its road record to 3-4 away from Madison.
Top Performers
• Keegan's career performance was not simply defined by her game-high 19 points. She added four assists, four rebounds and four steals in the win, while shooting 7-of-15 from the floor and 5-of-8 from the free throw line.
• Senior forward
Sam Lane added 11 points, eight rebounds and four steals in 37 minutes of action.

Ryan Jackson netted eight points and knocked down a pair of significant free throws in the fourth period. She also grabbed six rebounds.
Moment of the Game: With the score knotted at 49-49 and just 54 seconds remaining, junior center
Ally Raulf grabbed an all-important offensive rebound before being fouled on the put back attempt. She promptly knocked down both free throws before Goucher missed a three-point attempt and fouled Keegan with 18 ticks to go. Keegan followed suit by making two pressure-packed free throws to help ice the game for the Rangers.
Highlights
• Drew erased an early eight-point deficit with a 15-0 run in the second period. Goucher did not score a single point over the final 7:47 of the second as the Rangers took a 24-16 lead into intermission.
• Goucher broke its scoreless streak and eventually used an 8-0 run to tie the score at 30-30. Lane squashed the momentum on Drew's next possession by finishing a fast break with a three-point play after being fouled.
• Senior guard
Hannah Miller sank a three-pointer and Keegan drilled a mid-range jumper with two seconds left in the third to help Drew take a 38-32 lead into the final period.
• Another Keegan jumper and four straight points from Jackson sparked a 6-0 Drew run as they led 45-38 with 3:43 to play. Goucher, however, responded with a 9-2 run to set up the late-game dramatics.
Stat Sheet
• Drew racked up its third highest steal total of the season with 16. Goucher committed 27 turnovers – the second highest total this winter – leading to 13 points for the Rangers.
• Goucher dominated the rebounding battle, 51-31. Goucher's 51 included 21 offensive rebounds.
• The Gophers' starting five did the majority of the damage on Saturday, scoring all but three of the 50 points. Goucher was led by junior guard Briana Bull, who notched a double-double with 19 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
