ELIZABETHTOWN, N.J. (Feb. 1, 2017 — The Drew University women's basketball team dropped a Landmark Conference road game on Wednesday evening to Elizabethtown College and fell a game under .500 in conference play while the Blue Jays rose a game over .500.
By the Numbers: Drew is now 8-12 overall with a 3-5 record on the road. E-town improves to 15-4 with a 9-2 record at home.
Top Performers:
• Senior guard
Hannah Miller dropped 22 points on 6-of-14 shooting.
• Senior forward
Sam Lane scored 10 points on 4-of-6 and added three steals.
• Senior forward
Ryan Jackson also dropped 10 while adding eight rebounds.
Top Moment: Miller had a red hot third quarter. She hit three consecutive 3-pointers and added a layup for an 11 point period.
Stat Sheet:
• Drew was outrebounded 50 to 30.
• The Rangers posted a 37-percent field goal percentage and E-town got to just 31.
