HUNTINGDON, Pa. (April 9, 2017) – The Drew University baseball team positioned itself in the top half of the Landmark Conference standings by completing the three-game sweep at Juniata College, 18-3, on Sunday afternoon.

By the Numbers: The sweep moves the Rangers' record to 15-6 overall, 4-2 in conference play and a perfect 5-0 in away games. The Eagles fall to 5-20 and start their Landmark slate 0-6.

Drew sits in third place on the Landmark table with two out of six conference series in the books.

Top Performers
• Senior right fielder
Mike DiDonato set a new career-high by recording six RBIs, which is tied for fifth most in a game in Drew baseball history. He went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored in the breakout game.
• Senior designated hitter
Tommy Broyles was 2-for-4 with a walk, three runs and three RBIs in the rout.
• Senior catcher
Mike Miraglia batted 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBIS while extended a hitting streak to six straight games.
• Freshman center fielder
Max Felsenstein entered the game in the seventh and got hits in all three of his plate appearances down the stretch, driving in two runs in the process.
• Sophomore pitcher
Davis Fouts didn't allow a run in 3.1 innings of relief with a hit, two walks and two strikeouts.

The Difference: A lack of complacency and a focus on continuing the momentum from Saturday's 29-hit attack made sure of the Sunday sweep. Ten different Rangers notched hits and five had multiple hits.

Highlights
• With the bases loaded in the top of the first, DiDonato smacked his first double to right field to clear the bases for the early 3-0 lead.
• Freshman first baseman
Matthew Lange recorded at least one hit and one RBI in each game of the Juniata series with a 1-for-2 performance featuring two walks, two runs and an RBI. His run-scoring single in the second made it 4-0 before Miraglia, Broyles, DiDonato and senior third baseman
Jonathan Rodrigues blew the doors off with RBIs for the 10-0 lead before the sixth out of the game was recorded.

Notable – Hitting Streaks
• Junior second baseman
Isaiah Mateo extended a hitting streak to eight straight games with an infield single in the second.
• Sophomore shortstop
Zach Lipshitz made it seven games in a row with a base hit, He went 2-for-5 on Sunday and batted 4-for-12 against Eagle pitching this weekend.
