MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University women's swimming and diving team split a pair of dual meets on Saturday in Kirby Pool. The Rangers defeated Elizabethtown College 164-96 but were edged by Arcadia University, 136-126.

Junior Mal Vishwanath won three individual events to lead the Rangers (2-4), capturing the 1,000-freestyle (10:46.96) before touching first in the 200-freestyle (1:58.15) on short rest. She finished off her big day by winning the 500-freestyle (5:15.30).

Freshman Sydney Everhart also had a hand in three victories. She won the 200-butterfly (2:17.49) and 100-butterfly (1:02.19) while also swimming on the victorious 400-medley relay (4:17.77), which also included junior Katie Jefferson, junior Stephanie Cushman, and freshman Abby Shapiro. 

Jefferson added a victory in the 200-backstroke (2:15.82) and added runner-up performances in both the 100-backstroke (1:04.34) and 200-butterfly (2:19.97). Cushman added a victory in the 100-backstroke (1:02.11) and was second in the 200-back 2:16.12). 

The Rangers continue their season Nov. 30-Dec. 1 with the Ranger Invitational back in Kirby Pool.
