HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Rangers outscored Centenary University 49-17 over the final three quarters and defeated the host Cyclones 64-27 in non-conference women's basketball action Thursday evening. Freshman forward
Sekya Campbell led the Rangers with season-highs of 18 points and six steals in just 16 minutes of play.
Turning Point: Drew (3-2) broke the game open with a 17-2 run that spanned the first and second quarters. The game was tied at 8-8 with 3:30 left in the first quarter before Drew outscored the Cylones 7-2 over the rest of the period to assume a 15-10 lead. The Blue and Green opened the second quarter on a 10-0 to put their lead at 25-10 with 7:08 on the clock, and Centenary (0-5) was unable to get closer than 11 the rest of the way.
Pulling Away: The Rangers outscored Centenary 19-6 in the second quarter to assume a 34-16 halftime advantage. Drew continued to pull away in the second half, outscoring the Cyclones 30-11.
Top Performers: Campbell registered a tremendous first half, when she netted 15 points and grabbed four steals. She finished 6-for-8 from the field. Sophomore guard
Julia Ramos contributed eight points, four assists, and four steals for the Rangers, who forced Centenary into 28 turnovers. Senior forward

Brooke Timinski added seven points apiece.
Stat Sheet: Drew shot 39.7 percent for the game and held the Cyclones to 25.6 percent shooting. The Rangers held a 35-32 rebounding edge and did not allow a 3-pointer.
