MADISON, N.J. –
The Drew University Department of Athletics held its annual DRESPYs on Monday night.  Ranger Stadium public address announcer Tony Calandrillo served as emcee for the event, which was organized by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and held at the Concert Hall at Drew University.
 
Each team named its Most Valuable Player, and a number of special awards were also handed out.  The inaugural Male and Female Rookie of the Year awards went to Matheus Macena (swimming & diving) and Julia Ramos (basketball).  All-Americans Aidan Cserhat (men's soccer) and Mal Vishwanath (women's swimming & diving) were announced as the Vince Masco Male and Female Athletes of the Year, while the Career Athletes of the Year were Yonathan Napoleon (men's basketball) and Jenny Stein (women's swimming & diving).
