MADISON, N.J. – Freshman
Madi Precht tied a school record with four stolen bases in the opener before senior
Cara O'Leary tossed a five-hit, five-inning shutout in the nightcap as the softball team split a Landmark Conference (LC) doubleheader with Juniata College on Saturday at the Drew University Softball Complex. Precht tied the former mark set by Jennifer Mateo versus Muhlenberg College in 2013.

• The Eagles (7-11, 1-3 LC) opened up a gap with a four-run fifth before pushing across another run in the sixth to go up 8-2.
• Drew would not go away, however, scoring three in the fifth to make it 8-6. Precht sparked the rally with a one-out single before posting her record-tying steal.
• In the seventh, freshman
Paxtan Perry led off with a double before scoring on a sacrifice fly from sophomore
Sophie Sirota. However, with the tying run at the plate, Juniata starter Erin Pfeffer (3-5) ended the game with a groundout.

Renata Primmer added another sac fly. Burns capped the inning with an RBI-single.
• The Rangers broke it open with a five-spot in the fourth. Primmer smacked a two-run single while senior
Katie Grodski drove in two runs with a double. Burns set the final score with another run-scoring single.
• O'Leary was in command in the circle, allowing just two baserunners into scoring position. After yielding back-to-back singles to open the fifth, she retired the final three batters to nail down her first career shutout.
