STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Senior
Jendy Castillo fired a dazzling two-hit complete game, striking out a career-high 13 batters to lead the Drew University baseball team to an 11-1 victory at the College of Staten Island in a non-conference match-up Tuesday evening. For the second game in a row, the Rangers (18-13) broke the game open with one big inning, scoring their final eight runs in the top of the sixth. Drew has now scored in double figures in each of their last three games, piling up 38 runs over the stretch.

Highlights
• After leaving the bases loaded in each of the first two innings, Drew broke through in the third, scoring twice on an RBI-double by junior
Bryan Reagle and a bases-loaded walk by junior
Max Felsenstein.
• The Rangers pushed across another run in the fifth, when Felsenstein was hit by a pitch with two outs, stole second, and scored on an infield error, making it 3-0.
• Castillo no-hit the Dolphins (13-20) through the first three innings before No. 2 hitter Jett Nouvertne led off the fourth with a single.
• All eight of Drew's runs in the decisive sixth inning came after the first out was recorded. Senior
Eric DiPietro kicked off the big frame with a two-run double, then scored on a passed ball that made it 6-0.

Zach Lipshitz followed up with an RBI-double before junior
Anthony Tagliaferro provided the big blow, drilling a three-run double to left-center as the Rangers' lead swelled to 10-0. Reagle capped the inning when he brought home Tagliaferro with a single.
• Castillo carried a shutout into the ninth, but Staten Island went on to score an unearned run on a passed ball.

Top Performers
• Castillo (5-3) went the distance for the first time as a Ranger, earning his first career complete game. He tossed 128 pitches and nearly doubled his previous career-high for strikeouts (seven).
• Lipshitz, Reagle, and Lincoln all ripped three hits apiece while Lincoln also scored a pair of runs. Lipshitz has now reached base in 19 straight games and batted safely in his last 11.
• Lange also scored twice while Felsenstein drew three walks, reaching base four times on the night.
