BRANCHBURG, N.J. - Sophomore Lucy Lamb shot an incredible 73 on the final day of the Landmark Conference Championship, leading the Drew University women's golf team to its first-ever conference title Saturday and Sunday at Fox Hollow Golf Club.

The Rangers posted a dominant showing, carding a 713 (366-347) to outdistance their nearest opponent, Catholic University, by 41 strokes.

By virtue of her conference title, Lamb is the Landmark Conference Player of the Year. Her performance on Sunday included six pars, four birdies, and an eagle on the par-5, 15th hole. She finished with a 152, smashing her own school school record for 36 holes by 13 strokes. With a 73, she sliced six strokes from her previous school record (79) for 18 holes, a mark that she equaled on Saturday while playing through ferocious wind.

The conference runner-up at the inaugural Landmark Conference Women's Golf Championship last season, Lamb ended the tournament with an exclamation mark, sinking a 15-foot putt in front of the spectator gallery.

Freshman Cathy Bi was Drew's second finisher, tying for fifth in the field of 40. After opening with a 94 on Saturday, she improved by nine strokes on Sunday, posting an 85 to finish with a 179.

Sophomore Kristine Masseria also broke the top-10 for the Rangers, shooting a 188 (92-96) to finish eighth. Freshman Natalie Stilo rounded out the team scoring, tying for 18th with a 199. After opening with a 106, she fired a 93 on Sunday - just one stroke off her season-low. Freshman Cassidy Conklin was also in action and placed 24th with a 105 (101-104).
