WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Rangers scored the first two goals of the game, but Catholic University responded with a 7-0 run to end the half and the 10th-ranked Cardinals earned a 15-5 victory to hand the Drew University women's lacrosse team its first loss of the season in a Landmark Conference (LC) tilt Saturday afternoon. Drew (12-0, 2-1 LC) had been just the second team to open a season 12-0.

Mia Campanale to make it a 7-3 game. However, Catholic responded with a 4-0 run to push their advantage to eight (11-3) with 20:35 left, and the Rangers were unable to get closer than seven the rest of the way.
