MADISON, N.J. - Catholic University handed the Drew University field hockey team a 10-0 setback in Landmark Conference action Saturday afternoon in Ranger Stadium.
The Cardinals (4-8, 3-0 LC) jumped out to a fast start, scoring five goals in the first quarter before tacking on two in the second, two in the third, and one in the fourth.Â
Sophomore
Olyvia Jackson started in goal for the Rangers and finished with three saves over 42 minutes of action. Classmate
Emily Sheridan stopped a pair of shots in 18 minutes between the pipes.
Junior
Trisha Dominick fired three shots on goal to lead the Rangers offensively.
Carly Bateman and Lauren D'Emilio each posted a hat trick for the Cardinals, scoring three goals apiece.
Drew continues its season on Wednesday, when it visits the University of Scranton in another Landmark Conference tilt starting at 7 p.m.
