MADISON, N.J. - The Drew University women's basketball team outscored William Paterson University 28-8 in the second quarter en route to a 76-55 non-conference victory Wednesday evening in Baldwin Gym.
Four different players scored in double figures for the Rangers, who improved to 4-0 for the first time since the 2013-14 season.
The win marked victory No. 61 at Drew for Head Coach
John Olenowski, who tied Brittany Gaetano (2010-16) for the most wins in team history.

Joey Meyers posted her fourth-straight double-double to open the season for Drew, finishing with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Brianna Brooks led the Pioneers (0-3) with 12 points.
The Rangers led 16-13 at the end of the first quarter before breaking it open with their big second period. Drew led just 20-19 with 7:10 remaining before erupting for a 24-2 run to close the half. Seven different Rangers scored during the outburst, which included four 3-pointers and was capped by a triple from Meyers in the closing seconds that made it a 44-21 game at the break.
Drew saw its lead reach as much as 28 (58-30) late in the third quarter. The Pioneers used a late rally to pull to within 16, but the Rangers iced it with a late 9-2 run.
The Blue and Green are back in action on Tuesday, when they visit cross-town rival FDU-Florham at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match-up.
