TOWSON, Md. - Junior forward Alexa Thomas of the Drew University field hockey team has been selected as the Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Thomas racked up four goals, including a pair of game-winners, in a 2-0 week for the Rangers. In a 3-1 win over Delaware Valley, she staked the Rangers to a 2-0 lead by scoring the team's first two goals. She followed with two more tallies in a 3-2 victory over King's, scoring the game's first goal before drilling in the go-ahead marker with 8:46 remaining.

On the season, Thomas leads the Rangers in goals (six) and points (12). Among the Landmark Conference leaders, she is tied for second in goals and tied for third in points. Her six goals are the most by a Ranger since Madi Sheetz C'18 scored 10 in 2016.

Drew picks up its schedule on Wednesday, when it hosts Stevens at 7:30 p.m. in another non-conference tilt.
