TOWSON, Md. - Sophomore attacker
Lizzy Barrett has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week.
Barrett erupted for 18 points on nine goals and nine assists to power the Rangers to a 2-0 week during the team's spring break trip to Boston. She started by netting three goals and four assists in a 19-7 victory at Regis, then exploded for six goals and five assists in an 18-6 win at Emerson. Barrett's 11 points versus Emerson fell just one shy of the school record, and her six goals were the most by a Ranger since 2020. In addition, her five assists were the most by a Drew player since 2019.
For the season, Barrett has totaled 36 points on 20 goals and 16 assists. Among the Landmark Conference leaders, she ranks third in goals, second in assists, and second in points.
The Rangers (5-0) return to action on Saturday, when they visit Ursinus College at 3 p.m. in a non-conference tilt.
