MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University men's swimming & diving team celebrated Senior Day by capturing all 14 events in a 207-25 victory over Landmark Conference foe Goucher College on Saturday in F.M. Kirby Pool.
Before the meet, Drew's four seniors –
Jeffrey Crouse,
Harrison Neal,
Josh Roberts, and
Henry Van Note – were honored in a brief ceremony, along with the four seniors from the women's team.
Crouse and sophomores
Hayden Koh and
Yan Zheng Lew paced the Rangers (3-1) with two individual victories apiece. Crouse captured both the 1,000-freestyle (10:35.85) and the 100-freestyle (50.54) while Koh touched first in the 100-breaststroke (1:00.81) and the 500-freestyle (4:58.35). Lew prevailed in both the 200-butterfly (1:57.93) and the 200-breaststroke (2:16.17).
Neal (100-butterfly, 54.76) and Roberts (200-IM, 2:10.13) also earned one individual win each, as did junior
CJ Talerico in the 200-freestyle (1:52.30), freshman
Ricky Kilichowski in the 100-backstroke (57.34), junior
Finn Armitt in the 50-freestyle (22.47), and junior
Luke Stevens in the 200-backstroke (2:07.02).
In the relays, Koh, Neal, Armitt, and Roberts claimed the 200-medley in 1:38.33 while Armitt, Stevens, Lew, and Kilichowski won the 400-freestyle in 3:19.34.
The Rangers conclude their dual-meet schedule next Saturday when they visit Landmark Conference opponent University of Scranton at 1 p.m.
