TOWSON, Md. – The Drew University men's swimming & diving team won all 14 events and cruised to a 219-26 victory at Landmark Conference foe Goucher College on Saturday.
Four different swimmers won two individual events for the Rangers, who remain undefeated (4-0) in dual meets this season.
Drew was competing for the first time since the Ranger Invitational back on Dec. 1-2.
Collecting two wins apiece were freshman
Nicholas Heinio-Widell (1,000-freestyle, 10:51.39; 100-butterfly, 56.52), junior
Hayden Koh (100-breaststroke, 1:04.37; 100-freestyle, 50.18), junior
Yan Zheng Lew (200-butterfly, 2:00.52; 200-IM, 2:03.13), and senior
Luke Stevens (100-backstroke, 57.95; 50-frestyle, 23.08).
Four additional Rangers picked up on victory each: sophomore
Brendan Burkett in the 200-backstroke (2:08.28), freshman
Liam Gregory in the 200-freestyle (1:52.53), sophomore
Ricky Kilichowski in the 500-freestyle (5:15.32), and sophomore
Gabe Spivak in the 200-breaststroke (2:20.47).
Drew also swept the relays. Burkett, Spivak, Koh, and senior
CJ Talerico teamed up for a 3:40.37 clocking in the 400-medley while Heinio-Widell, freshman
Kyle Talerico,
CJ Talerico, and freshman
Matt Menotti touched first in the 400-freestyle (3:24.72).
The Rangers close out their dual-meet schedule next Saturday, when they host the University of Scranton at 1 p.m. on Senior Day.
