MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University women's tennis team earned a pair of victories on Sunday, downing FDU-Florham and Pratt Institute in their final matches of the fall.
The Rangers defeated FDU 7-0 before downing Pratt, who entered the day with a 5-1 record, by a final of 6-1.
Versus FDU, Drew opened with a pair of doubles victories to earn the doubles point. Senior

Sophie Weaver won 6-2 at No. 1 while senior

Jada Worthem captured a 6-0 win at No. 2, and the Devils forfeited No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, the Rangers cruised to 8-0 wins at Nos. 1-4 singles, receiving victories from junior
Natalia Zamora, sophomore
Riley Roesel, sophomore
Danielle Pettoni, and sophomore
Kapriana Payami, respectively. Junior
Nora Kosch contributed an 8-2 victory at No. 5 while FDU forfeited No. 6 singles.
Against Pratt, the Rangers swept the doubles competition to post a 1-0 lead. Kalorin and Weaver prevailed 6-2 at No. 1 while Roesel and Zamora teamed up for a 6-4 victory at No. 2. Parisi and Worthem contributed a 6-0 triumph at No. 3.
The Rangers closed out the day with victories at Nos. 2-6 singles. Zamora won 8-2 at No. 2, as did Roesel at No.3 (8-6), Pettoni at No. 4 (8-3), Worthem at No. 5 (8-6), and Parisi at No. 6 (8-6).
Drew kicks off the primary portion of its schedule during the spring semester, starting with a non-conference match at Ithaca College on Feb. 15.
