MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University men's tennis team completed the opening day of the Ranger Invitational Doubles Tournament on Saturday in the Simon Forum.
Leading the way for the Rangers were freshmen
Ty Gelijns and
Ian Michel, who finished 3-2 on the day.
Three different tandems earned two victories apiece for Drew, as senior
Santo Carroccia and sophomore
Shivi Perera; senior
Jack Polvere and freshman
Joshua Thomas; and juniors
Sergey Kravchenko and
Owen Reynolds each finished 2-2. In addition, freshman
Daniel Arcari and sophomore
Jesse Faro went 1-3.
The invitational concludes on Sunday starting at 9 a.m.
