LEBANON, Pa. – The Drew University men's cross country team ran its first 8,000-meter race of the season on Saturday, competing at the Dutchmen Invitational, hosted by Lebanon Valley College at Union Canal Tunnel Park.
Running at the site of this year's Landmark Conference Championships, the Rangers finished 10th among 18 teams.
Leading the way for the Rangers for the second week in a row was freshman
Matt Ellis, who came in 47th in a field of 202 while clocking a time of 27 minutes, 54 seconds. He was followed by junior
Dylan Crain, who placed 59th in 28:21, and sophomore
Thomas Edwards, who was 61st, in 28:23.
Rounding out the team scoring were freshman
Eliot Vishnevsky, who placed 133rd in 30:30, and sophomore
Aidan Rosser, who finished 166th in 32:49.
The Rangers continue their season next Saturday at the Stockton University Osprey Open.
