SHAWNEE ON DELAWARE, Pa. – Led by medalist Elliot Parker, the Drew University men's golf team closed out the fall portion of its schedule on a high note on Sunday, posting a convincing team title at the Landmark Conference Fall Preview, held at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.
 
The Rangers entered the day with a 10-stroke lead following the opening round on Saturday and settled any doubt on Sunday, shooting seven strokes better than runner-up Goucher College. For the tournament, Drew shot the only two sub-300 rounds en route to its 17-stroke victory, posting a 36-hole score of 590 (297-293).
 
Individually, Parker registered his second win of the fall, firing a 4-under-par 140 (71-69) to edge out junior teammate Avery Cohen by four strokes. Parker carded six birdies on Sunday and 10 for the tournament en route to his second Fall Preview title, having also won it in 2023.
 
Cohen captured runner-up honors with a 144 (72-72) after a steady round on Sunday in which he shot a pair of birdies and even-par on 14 others. He finished the tournament with five birdies.
 
Finishing third among the Rangers was senior Shiv Bhaskar, who tied for seventh in the field of 49 with a 153 (79-74). He shot three birdies for the day and five for the weekend.
 
Junior Thomas Hurley rounded out Drew's team scoring, tying for 17th with a 156 (78-78) while carding three birdies for the tournament. Sophomore Sam Dolan was also in action and tied for 22nd with a 157 (76-81) while posting five birdies.
 
The Rangers return to the links in March for the spring portion of their schedule.
