TOWSON, Md. – For the second time this season, junior
Tommy Edwards has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
Edwards won the Battle of Madison tri-meet versus FDU-Florham and Saint Elizabeth this past Thursday at the Giralda Farms Preserve. He ran a time of 12 minutes, 16 seconds for the 4,000-meter course while posting a 13-second victory. Edwards helped the Rangers defeat both FDU and St. E's.
For the season, Edwards has posted a personal record time of 26:31 for 8,000 meters and 17:23 for 5,000 meters.
The Rangers are back in action on Saturday, when they compete at the Landmark Conference Championships, hosted by Drew at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, N.J.
