TOWSON, Md. – For the second time this season, senior
Kate Rice has earned the Landmark Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week Award.
Rice won the Battle of Madison Avenue tri-meet versus FDU-Florham and Saint Elizabeth this past Thursday at the Giralda Farms Reserve. With a time of 14 minutes, 52 seconds, she won the 4,000-meter race by 28 seconds. Her efforts helped the Rangers defeat both FDU and Saint E's.
Throughout the season, Rice has posted season-best times of 23:11 for 6,000 meters and 18:54 in her lone 5K.
The Rangers are back in action on Saturday, when they compete at the Landmark Conference Championships, hosted by Drew at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, N.J.
