Mary Kalorin won at No. 1 singles and doubles, but the Drew University women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Washington College in a non-conference match Friday evening in the Simon Forum.
The Shorewomen (2-0) opened the match by winning the doubles point, prevailing at the second and third flights. Kalorin teamed with graduate student
Sophie Weaver for a 6-4 victory at the No. 1 spot for the team's lone doubles win.
Kalorin also garnered a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles while junior
Natalia Zamora earned a 7-6 (7-5) 6-4 win at third singles.
The Rangers (3-3) return to action on when they travel to Hilton Head, S.C. for their spring break trip March 7-12.
