MADISON, N.J. – Anthony Hernandez went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, and four RBIs while
Brandon Kobryn tossed five scoreless innings and the Drew University baseball team defeated Saint Elizabeth University 13-3 on the second and final day at the Battle of Madison Avenue, hosted by FDU-Florham, on Sunday.

The Rangers (1-2) never trailed after scoring 11 unanswered runs over the first seven innings.

Anthony Diaz Jr. and
Raiden Yost scored three runs apiece for Drew while
Anthony Vallaro collected three RBIs.

Kobryn (1-0) no-hit the Eagles through the first four innings before allowing a pair of singles in the fifth. He struck out three and walked two.

Three other Rangers saw time on the mound as well.
Graham Ross came on to throw two innings while yielding just one run and striking out three before
Justin Bonito allowed only a pair of unearned runs, striking out two over one inning.
Alex Feeney worked a scoreless ninth and fanned one.

The Rangers struck early with three runs in the first inning. Hernandez then doubled in a pair of runs in the third to make it 5-0.

Drew broke it open with a four-run fifth, which was sparked by a leadoff double from
Dallas Lorenzetti. The Blue and Green tacked on two runs apiece in the seventh and eighth, with Hernandez drilling an RBI-triple in the seventh.

The Rangers are back in action on Saturday, when they visit William Paterson University at noon.
