TOWSON, Md. – Senior
Mary Kalorin break the school record for doubles victories and the Drew University women's tennis team earned a 5-2 Landmark Conference victory over Goucher College on Saturday.

Kalorin teamed with graduate student
Sophie Weaver for a 6-1 win at the No. 1 spot for her 53rd career doubles win – one more than Ashley Camel C'20 posted from 2016-20. In addition, Kalorin tied the Landmark Conference record for overall career double victories, equaling the mark set by Emilia Jakubek of Scranton from 2016-19. Kalorin has now accumulated a career doubles record of 53-27.

The Gophers opened the day by winning the doubles match, prevailing at the Nos. 2-3 positions. But the Rangers made up for it in singles, winning five of the six matches.
Kalorin and Weaver each earned their second victory of the day with their singles wins. Kalorin rallied for a 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 triumph while Weaver cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win.

The Rangers also prevailed at Nos. 3-5 singles. Junior
Natalia Zamora won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3 while sophomore
Riley Roesel came from behind to capture a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 decision. Sophomore
Danielle Pettoni contributed a 7-6, 6-1 at No. 5.

Drew (6-5, 2-1 LC) returns to the court on Wednesday, when it hosts Wilkes University in a Landmark Conference affair starting at 4 p.m.
