BALTIMORE – Sophomore
Kyra Gorman won a gold medal for the third day in a row to lead the Drew University women's swimming & diving team on the the fourth and final day of the Landmark Conference Championships on Sunday at Loyola University's Mangione Aquatic Center.
As a team, the Rangers scored 425 place to finish third among 10 teams. Scranton captured the conference title with 887 points while Catholic finished just 14 points behind in second place.
Gorman defended her conference title in the 100-freestyle on Sunday, winning by 0.36 seconds with a mark of 53.32. The victory made it a clean sweep in the sprint freestyle events for Gorman, who also defended her title in the 200-free on Saturday after claiming her first gold in the 50-free on Friday.
Senior
Ece Onatca also captured an individual medal on Sunday, placing third in the 200-backstroke with a time of 2:09.00. She was joined in the championship finals by senior
Sarah Weber, who placed fifth in the 200-breaststroke (2:33.01); freshman
Adriana Scanga, who took fifth in the 200-butterfly (2:20.03); and sophomore
Ellis Murray, who came in sixth in the 200-backstroke (2:14.77).
Sophomore
Morgan Wilson added additional points in the consolation finals with an 11th-place finish in the 200-breaststroke (2:38.05).

Kaitlyn Zayle took third in 3:42.06.
