TOWSON, Md. – Senior Jesse Faro has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.
 
Faro won at both No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles in Drew's 4-3 victory over Dickinson College. He teamed up with junior Daniel Arcari for a 6-3 doubles win, then prevailed in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) in singles play.
 
For the week, Faro finished 1-2 in singles and 2-1 in doubles, as he and Arcari also recorded a 6-2 victory at No. 1 doubles in a loss to Ithaca. In addition, he nearly won his singles match versus The College of New Jersey, forcing a super tiebreaker in a 3-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-6 loss.

Last season, Faro earned First Team All-Landmark Conference honors in both singles and doubles for the second year in a row, finishing 13-9 in singles and 18-14 in doubles.
 
The Rangers continue their season on Saturday, March 7, when they travel to Hobart College for a dual match starting at 5 p.m.
