2026 All-Landmark Conference Men's Swimming & Diving Team

TOWSON, Md. – Following a stellar showing at the Landmark Conference Championships this past weekend, the Drew University men's swimming & diving team tied a program record with nine student-athletes named to the All-Landmark Conference Team.

In addition, senior Nicholas Heinio-Widell was named the Men's Swimmer of the Year for the third straight season while Head Coach Rich Munson and his staff was recognized as the Coaching Staff of the Year.

First Team All-Landmark honors are awarded to everyone who finishes first at the Landmark Championships while second-place finishers earn Second Team All-Landmark recognition. Honorable mention is given to third-place finishers.

Drew also placed nine athletes on the All-Landmark Conference Team last year and in 2022.

Munson gained his second Landmark Conference Coach of the Year honor but his first for the men's team. He was also selected as the Landmark Women's Coach of the Year in 2022 after leading the Rangers to their first conference title.

This year, the Rangers accumulated 720 points – the second-highest scoring total in program history at the Landmark Conference Championships – and won 12 events, five more than any other school en route to a third-place finish among 10 teams. In addition, the Rangers won all five relays for an incredible third year in a row.

For the third straight season, Heinio-Widell – a junior who is graduating in three years – won all seven of his events (three individual, four relay) and became just the third athlete to win the Landmark Conference Men's Swimmer of the Year award three times, joining Catholic's Gregory McCarthy (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) and Merchant Marine's Kevin Lindgren (2013, 2014, 2015). Heinio-Widell lowered his own school, meet, and conference record with an NCAA B cut in the 100-butterfly, and he helped both the 200- and 400-freestyle relay teams break meet records as well.
