WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Drew University men's tennis team earned a 7-0 victory at Lycoming College in its Landmark Conference opener on Saturday.
The Rangers (4-5, 1-0 LC) did not lose a game in doubles action, winning 6-0 in all three contests to assume a 1-0 lead. Doubles winners were junior
Daniel Arcari and senior
Jesse Faro at No. 1, junior
Nicolas Mobayed and senior
Devan Sutaria at No. 2, and junior
Ty Gelijns and sophomore
Cameron Longa at No. 3.
Drew was also perfect at Nos. 1-3 singles, with Faro (No. 1), Arcari (No. 2), and Mobayed (No. 3) all winning 6-0, 6-0. Sutaria added a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 4 while Gelijns earned a 6-3, 6-0 triumph at No. 5. Longa prevailed 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.
The Rangers return to play on Thursday, when they visit Lebanon Valley College in a non-conference match starting at 4:30 p.m.
