TOWSON, Md. – For the third time this season and the 16th time in his career, senior Elliot Parker has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week.
 
Parker rallied from four strokes back after the opening round with an incredible 6-under-par 66 in the second round to win by a single stroke at The Ruckus, held at Williamsburg National Golf Club in Williamsburg, Va., in Drew's spring opener this past weekend. He carded a 4-under-par 140 (74-66) to lead the Rangers to a six-stroke victory, as Drew shot a 588 (289-299) to beat out 10 other teams. Parker fired three birdies in the first round on Saturday before carding six birdies and an eagle on Sunday.
 
For the season, Parker has averaged a team-leading 71.8 over six events and 13 rounds.
 
The Rangers return to the links April 3-4 at The Spring Thaw, held at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort at Shawnee on Delaware, Pa., the site of this year's Landmark Conference Championships.
