Jesse Faro has been recognized as the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.
Faro went a combined 4-0 at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in a 1-1 week for the Rangers. He did not lose a game in Drew's 7-0 victory at Lycoming College in its Landmark Conference opener, winning 6-0, 6-0 in singles and 6-0 in doubles. He also prevailed 7-5, 7-5 in singles and 6-3 in doubles in a 6-1 non-conference loss at Ursinus College.
For the season, Faro has posted a 5-6 record in singles, including a 5-3 mark in dual matches. He is also 6-7 in doubles play, including 6-3 in dual competition.
The Rangers (4-5, 1-0 LC) continue their season on Thursday, when they visit Lebanon Valley College in a non-conference match starting at 4:30 p.m.
