TOWSON, Md. – For the second time this spring and the third time in his career, senior Jesse Faro has been recognized as the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.
 
Faro went a combined 4-0 at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in a 1-1 week for the Rangers. He did not lose a game in Drew's 7-0 victory at Lycoming College in its Landmark Conference opener, winning 6-0, 6-0 in singles and 6-0 in doubles. He also prevailed 7-5, 7-5 in singles and 6-3 in doubles in a 6-1 non-conference loss at Ursinus College.
 
For the season, Faro has posted a 5-6 record in singles, including a 5-3 mark in dual matches. He is also 6-7 in doubles play, including 6-3 in dual competition.
 
The Rangers (4-5, 1-0 LC) continue their season on Thursday, when they visit Lebanon Valley College in a non-conference match starting at 4:30 p.m.
