MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University men's tennis team won its third straight match, including its second in a row in Landmark Conference play, with a 5-2 victory over Susquehanna University on Saturday in the Simon Forum.
The Rangers (6-5, 2-0 LC) opened the match by winning the doubles point before capturing four singles matches.
In doubles action, junior
Daniel Arcari and senior
Jesse Faro won 6-2 at No. 1 before junior
Ty Gelijns and senior
Shivi Perera prevailed 7-5 at No. 3 as the Rangers went up 1-0.
Earning singles victories were Arcari at No. 2 (6-1, 6-0), junior
Nicolas Mobayed at No. 3 (6-1, 6-0), Perera at No. 4 (6-4, 6-2), and Gelijns at No. 5 (6-4, 2-6, 10-8).
Drew continues its season on Wednesday, when it visits Moravian University at 4 p.m. in another Landmark Conference affair.
