TOWSON, Md. – Eight different players scored a goal and the Drew University women's lacrosse team cruised to a 20-6 victory at Goucher College in a Landmark Conference tilt Saturday afternoon.
The Rangers (7-3, 2-1 LC) raced out to a 17-3 lead through the first two and a half quarters.
Senior
Emma Gallaro led Drew with four goals while junior
Madi Strong and freshman
Regina Williams posted three goals and one assist each. Sophomore
Kristina Lowe tossed in three goals while senior
Aubrey Welch recorded two goals, two assists, and five draw controls. Junior
Grace Patane also contributed two goals and two assists while sophomore
Hayden Scotti posted two goals and one helper.

Emily Monaco recorded five draw controls, including the 100th of her career, to go with four ground balls and three caused turnovers. In goal, junior
Paige Shaw made two saves in the opening half while sophomore
Rorrie Sifers also turned aside two shots while playing the second half.
Goucher (3-7, 0-3 LC) scored three of its goals in the opening six minutes, building an early 3-2 lead. But that's when the Rangers ran off 15 unanswered goals, including the final five of the first half to go up 7-3.
Drew outscored the Gophers 4-0 in the second half to push its lead to 11-3 at the midway point. The Rangers piled on the first six goals of the second half to build its 17-3 lead.
Drew picks up its schedule on Thursday, when it hosts Catholic University at 5 p.m. in another Landmark Conference matchup.
