TOWSON, Md. – Junior
Daniel Arcari has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.
Arcari posted a combined 4-0 record, going 2-0 at No. 1 doubles and 2-0 at No. 2 singles in a 2-0 week for the Rangers. He started by winning 7-6 (7-0) with doubles partner
Jesse Faro while also notching a 6-0, 7-6 (7-1) singles win in a 5-2 victory at Lebanon Valley. He followed up with a 6-2 singles win and a 6-1, 6-0 doubles victory in Drew's 5-2 triumph over Susquehanna.
On the season, Arcari has posted a 7-8 singles record, including a 7-4 mark in dual matches, primarily at the No. 2 spot. He is also 8-7 in doubles action, including 8-3 in dual matches at the No. 1 position.
The Rangers (6-5, 2-0 LC) return to action on Wednesday, when they visit Moravian University in a Landmark Conference tilt starting at 4 p.m.
