SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Susquehanna University rallied from a six-run deficit to hand the Drew University baseball team a 10-9 setback in a Landmark Conference series finale on Sunday.

The Rangers (16-13, 7-10 LC) led 8-2 through five and a half innings before the River Hawks (19-11, 10-5 LC) climbed back into it with a five-run sixth. Drew went up 9-7 in the seventh before Susquehanna plated singles runs in each of the last three innings, winning on a walk-off single.

Griffin Shenman collected two hits each for the Rangers while sophomore
Dylan Gallagher cracked his fifth home of the season.

Freshman
Nicholas Lo Vacco started on the mound for the Rangers and pitched six innings and received a no-decision. He allowed just two runs in the first five innings before Susquehanna's five-run sixth.

Gallagher's homer – a solo shot in the second – put the Rangers up 1-0 in the second. Drew then put up a four-spot in the third to go up 5-0, receiving an RBI-single from senior
Nick Bisaccia and a two-run double from freshman
Matteo Gruendig.

The River Hawks scored once in the bottom of the third but Drew came right back with a run in the fourth, when Master tripled home a run to make it 6-1. Susquehanna scored again in the fifth to cut the gap to four but the Rangers plated two in the sixth, which included an RBI-single from sophomore
Zach Maxwell, to take their 8-2 lead.

Drew scored its final run in the seventh on a double steal, with Master scoring and junior
Aiden Mitchell swiping second to make it 9-7.

The River Hawks scored on a hit batter and a double in the seventh before tying it on a pair of errors in the eighth. In the ninth, Paul Daly drew a leadoff walk, was bunted to second, and scored following singles from Luke Goodwin and CJ Orrego.

Lo Vacco finished with three strikeouts while allowing seven runs (five earned) over six innings. Freshman
Mikey Sica (2-1) absorbed the loss after yielding three runs (two earned) in two innings while sophomore
Breckyn DeAngelis tossed 1/3 of an inning.

The Rangers return to action on Tuesday, when they host Saint Elizabeth University in a non-conference tilt starting at 3:30 p.m.
