MADISON, N.J. – The Drew University men's tennis team won the doubles point, then captured the top three singles matches en route to a 4-0 victory over the University of Scranton in the first round of the Landmark Conference Championships.
With the victory, the No. 4-seeded Rangers (11-8) move on to face top-seeded Moravian University in the semifinals on Friday at 4 p.m.

Daniel Arcari and senior
Jesse Faro won 6-2 at No. 1 versus the No. 4-seeded Royals before seniors
Kevin Cronin and
Devan Sutaria clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 victory at No. 3. Juniors
Ty Gelijns and
Nicolas Mobayed added a 6-3 win at No. 2.
Faro went on to claim a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles to make it a 2-0 match before Arcari posted a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 2. Sophomore
Pharell Longenbach clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 6 due to the Landmark Conferfence's clinch scoring postseason rules.
