TOWSON, Md. – Sophomore forward Karine Johnson has been selected as the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Athlete of the Week.
 
Johnson scored three goals in a 2-0 week. She opened with two goals in the team's 5-4 double-overtime win at FDU-Florham in which she tied the game twice in the fourth quarter. She followed up by scoring the game's lone goal early in the second quarter, lifting the Rangers to a 1-0 win over Goucher in their Landmark Conference opener.
 
For the season, Johnson is tied for third among the Rangers in goals (three) and tied for fourth in points (six).
 
Drew (3-5, 1-0 LC), which has won its last three games, returns to the field on Wednesday, when it visits Delaware Valley University at 7 p.m. in a non-conference affair.
