Drew University Athletic Facilities

William E. and Carol G. Simon Forum and Athletic Center, which opened in 1994, is one of the largest civic center facilities in New Jersey.

Baldwin Gymnasium houses a NCAA regulation basketball court, while Ranger Stadium, Drew's lighted all-weather polygrass field is home to the university's soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey teams.  There are also indoor and outdoor tennis courts -- the outdoor courts are lighted to tournament specifications and feature a gazebo for spectators.

Drew also has irrigated baseball, softball, and practice fields, as well as indoor tennis, volleyball, racquetball, and squash courts. There's a 25 yard natatorium and observation deck, a 200-meter indoor track, multipurpose and combative sports rooms, training rooms, dance studio, and a free-weight room.

The health and fitness room is fully furnished for Cybex weight training and cardiovascular conditioning with stair machines, stationary bikes, and treadmills.

Simon Forum

All individuals entering the forum will now do so from the Baldwin Gym Patio entrance. All other doors are for exit only except in the cases of athletic contests and special events coordinated by HCH. Doors may not be unlocked or propped open. Students found to be doing this may be subject to disciplinary procedures.

In addition, every person entering the Simon Forum will need to produce valid Drew identification to the Front Desk Attendant. For students and staff this simply means their current Drew Identification Card. Alumni will be directed to the Business Office or Alumni house for an Alumni ID Card which will be validated with a sticker showing that they are approved to enter the forum and use the facilities. Non current Drew students, faculty, staff and alumni without validated ID will be unable to gain access into the forum. Visitors, recruits, parents, etc. will be asked to provide picture ID and may sign in at the front desk specifying who they are coming to see upon entering the forum. This will be an ongoing process in conjunction with Campus Recreation, Student Activities and Public Safety.
