Why did you choose Drew University?
I chose Drew because when I came on my overnight and met the team they were all so much fun to hang out with and everyone is so friendly so it just worked out really well.

Why did you choose your major and what is your favorite course?
I am undecided at the moment, but I do enjoy working with people and I know I am not a math or science person.

What is your most memorable moment as a Ranger?
My most memorable moment as a Ranger would have to be the Gordon tournament because it was not just the first games of the season, but it was my first time playing at Drew and we won the tournament. It was so much fun and so exciting it was definitely one of the best moments especially since I also got to share it with my team.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete has helped me as a student because it definitely helps me with time management and getting my work done. you have to make time for everything whether it is practice or a game you have on the same day as a test or you have a lab coming up I would make a schedule and make sure I stuck to it.

What is the most difficult part of your sport?
The most difficult part of my sport is when it ends. the last game is always the hardest because you spend everyday with your best friends for 5-6 months and then it ends and you don't see them everyday anymore and some of them you won't get to play with again so it is really hard.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
I wear my jersey number because I have worn that number since I was a little kid and all my siblings would wear it also so it just stuck.

What advice do you have for a prospective Drew University student-athlete?
Some advice I would give to a prospective student-athlete is to definitely make sure you love the team because they are the people you will spend everyday with and they start off as just your friends, but then you realize that they are more like your family. also take good consideration into the different opportunities the school has to offer so that you have many choices and chances to explore.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Drew?
Community service is very important to me and my team because it lets other people see that we may be student athletes, but there is so much more we truly care about than just basketball. We got to work a camp for these two middle school girls basketball teams and it was so much fun and they loved it. It was so nice too because since they had such an amazing time they decided to come to one of our games and cheer us on and it made our team so happy to see them.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome...
One obstacle I have had to overcome is definitely the change in work load from high school to college. Coming in as a freshman you don't really know what to expect then all of a sudden it all just hits you. It can get very stressful and hard to try and manage all your work especially since it is all kind of new to you.
