Why did you choose Drew University?
I chose Drew University for the unique type of school that it is. It’s focus on academics, the beautiful campus, and the people are just some of the main reasons why I picked Drew University.

Why did you choose your major and what is your favorite course?
I chose to major in history for the passion that I have in the subject. I wanted to pursue a path that would entertain my interests and fulfill the love that I have for history. My favorite course so far is the History of Britain course with Professor Rose.

What is your most memorable moment as a Ranger?
My most memorable moment as a Ranger was winning the 4x100m relay in the Ranger Invite to beat FDU-Florham by one point.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete has kept me more organized and disciplined as a student.

What is the most difficult part of your sport?
The most difficult part of swimming has to be the time commitment.

What advice do you have for a prospective Drew University student-athlete?
My advice for a prospective student would be to find what you are interested in most and pursue that path. Don’t feel forced to pursue anything you do not feel 100% positive about. 

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Drew?
Community service is very important for me as I am a Civic Scholar. As Civic Scholars, we are required to do at least 100 hours of community service per year and this makes community service a priority.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome...
One obstacle of adversity that I have had to overcome is getting into a routine of swimming for six months straight, which is something I have never done.
