Why did you choose Drew University?
I was recruited to play basketball by coach Gaetano. When I came to the school for the first time for my overnight loved both the team and the school. I knew it was the right school for me.

Why did you choose your major and what is your favorite course?
I love working with numbers. I was originally going to be a math major but decided to change my course of study upon entering college and focus on Business instead. A lot of business if still working with number so I love the field of study I chose. My favorite class would have to be Microeconomics.

What is your most memorable moment as a Ranger?
My most memorable moment is beating Susquehanna on senior night last year. No one expected us to win but we played one of our best games and beat them.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
I have learned a variety of skills from being an athlete that apply to the class room as well such as leadership, time management, and communication. I have learned how to work more effectively with others so our team can communicate and work together even better as one unit.

What is the most difficult part of your sport?
The mental aspect. Everyone has an off shooting night, makes turnovers, misses a box out, or is even exhausted in the fourth quarter. But what makes the sport so fun is overcoming that adversity and rising up to the challenge. Mental toughness it definitely important for the sport.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
Growing up, I have always been number 23. I was given it as a uniform in rec basketball and it just stuck with me. But, when I came to Drew another teammate already had that number so I decided to flip the number and wear number 32 instead.

What advice do you have for a prospective Drew University student-athlete?
Enjoy every moment of the sport you get and become a family with your teammates. When you are supported by teammates and have a strong bond with them, the game just becomes that much more fun. And never stop pushing your teammates to get better in practice.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Drew?
Participating in community service provides me the opportunity to showcase my leadership skills and give back to the community. Theres no better feeling than knowing you are making a difference in the community around you and helping others less fortunate than you. The community supports us as athletes, so giving back as much as we can is well worth it.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome
In high school, our biggest fan, Skylar, who sat on our bench every game lost her fight to spinabifida at the age of 9. We played every game after that for her.
