Why did you choose Drew University?
The moment I stepped foot onto campus I had that moment of this where I belonged. I instantly felt like this was my school. Being able to excel academically and athletically was important to both my family and me and I knew that Drew University was the perfect fit for my aspirations.

Why did you choose your major and what is your favorite course?
I decided to major in Political Science because my high school AP Government teacher who initially sparked my interest but I believe that it is so important for people to be engaged in the world and happenings around them. My favorite course has had to be Terrorism

What is your most memorable moment as a Ranger?
Beating Moravian my sophomore year and just so everyone knows we should’ve swept them in that series, they should be reminded of that too.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete at Drew has really benefited me in the classroom. Having to balance practice, games and school work has made me more organized and has improved my time management skills, since I am the biggest procrastinator.

What is the most difficult part of your sport?
Getting everyone on the same page and collectively hitting as a lineup to produce runs.
 
Why do you wear your jersey number?
For my cousin Tara who I grew up watching playing softball and my Poppy who always got my Grandma 13 roses instead of the ordinary 12.

What advice do you have for a prospective Drew University student-athlete?
Drew University is the right pick. Being a Ranger allows you to compete competitively academically and athletically. Being a student-athlete at Drew University truly has given me and all our student-athletes the opportunity to do it all inside and outside of the classroom.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Drew?
As a Civic Scholar at Drew, community service has been a real important aspect of my time at Drew University. It has allowed me to not only deepen by relationship with the Drew community but has also expanded my relationship with the local towns surrounding Drew through volunteer work.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome...
Getting back into softball and getting recruited after being sick my junior year of high school and losing an entire year of playing softball I was doubtful if I would ever play college softball.
