Why did you choose Drew University?
I chose Drew University due to its stellar academics and athletic programs. The campus is also close to home and is absolutely beautiful.

What is something most people don't know about you?
I am obsessed with the Hunger Games and want to be Katniss.

What is your most memorable moment as a Ranger?
I am a transfer student and putting on my Ranger uniform for the first time was one of the best moments of my life. My heart was filled with joy and I just knew at that moment, that I made the right choice coming to Drew.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being a student-athlete has definitely helped me manage my time, get my priorities straight, and be motivated to succeed in the classroom. I am a total nerd so my academics always come first to me.

What is the most difficult part of your sport?
Field hockey involves a great deal of knowledge, which I think is the hardest part of the sport. You need to think about where to place the ball and what is the best option at that instant because one bad decision, can lead to a major turnover.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
My favorite number has always been #4 and when that number was taken, I started to wear #8 since it’s a multiple of 4. #8 is also my mother’s birthday and I got brownie points from her for choosing that number.

What advice do you have for a prospective Drew University student-athlete?
To plan a schedule for yourself so you can easily manage your time without stressing yourself out. Drew pushes you to be the best student-athlete that you can be; therefore, always set goals for yourself so you can succeed.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Drew?
It helps you give back to your community and shows that you are more than an a student-athlete. There is nothing I love more than helping other people and putting smiles on other individuals faces.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome...
I transferred to Drew my junior year of college, which was not an easy adjustment at first. I had to start all over again and I did not know what to expect. I am fortunate enough to have met amazing people my first semester that made this adjustment a lot easier for me.
