Brad Hedden begins his third season as an assistant coach and his first year as the full-time pitching coach at Drew University in 2024-25.
In 2024, Hedden helped lead the Rangers to their first postseason appearance in a non-Covid season since 2017. He helped the Rangers to a seven-game win improvement from the previous season and was part of the Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year.
Hedden pitched and played first base at the University of Louisville from 2011-2014, when he was a part of two College World Series appearances for the Cardinals during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Louisville in 2014.
On the side, Hedden spends his time at Total Arm Care where he works with MLB, MILB, NCAA Division I, and some of the best high school pitchers in the state of New Jersey.
